Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Falls Church, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: CVOR
• Discipline: RN
• Start Date: 02/02/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

• RN must BOTH SCRUB and CIRCULATE
• They will be primarily scrubbing , not just circulating
• This is a CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) role — not general OR

2️⃣ Experience Level

• 3–5 years of recent CVOR experience
• Must be hands-on in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases

Required case experience includes (adult mandatory):

• CABG (primary & redo)
• Aortic aneurysm repairs
• AVR & MVR (primary & redo)
• TAVR
• ECMO
• VAD
  ➡️ Pediatric experience is a plus but NOT required

3️⃣ Certifications

• BLS (AHA only) – REQUIRED
• CNOR – Preferred (nice to have, not mandatory)

4️⃣ Schedule & Call

• Call is required (must be flexible)
• Overtime may be necessary
• Must be willing to multitask and think critically in high-acuity cases

5️⃣ Holiday & Time-Off Rules (Important)

• Must work ONE summer holiday :
  • Memorial Day OR
  • July 4th OR
  • Labor Day
• Must work ONE winter holiday :
  • Thanksgiving OR
  • Christmas
• Any requested time off must be added to the END of the contract
  • Contract must equal 13 full working weeks

A CVOR RN with 3–5 years of recent adult cardiac surgery experience who can scrub and circulate , is comfortable taking call , and is strong in complex cardiac cases .
