\n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n

• Location: Berlin, Vermont (05602) – Vermont healthcare jobs\n
• Unit: Women and Children’s Unit (Labor & Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, LDRP)\n
• Assignment Length: Up to 16 weeks, with potential extension to 32 weeks\n
• Start Date: December 22, 2025\n
• End Date: April 12, 2026\n
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p), rotating every 2 weeks\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2520-$2700\n
• Call Requirement: 2 x 12-hour call shifts per rolling 4-week period\n
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
• Holiday Requirement: Work 2 out of 4 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Day)\n
• Floating: Required as helping hands within the organization\n
• Orientation: 3 shifts (12 hours each)\n
• Documentation System: Epic, Philips Intellispace\n
• Medication System: Pyxis\n
• Dress Code: Light blue scrubs (provided by unit)\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Vermont RN jobs\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience, including LDRP in a community hospital\n
• Experience as a baby nurse at delivery, including neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, and newborn medication administration\n
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)\n
• BLS and NRP certifications (required)\n
• ACLS and PALS (or PEARS) certifications (preferred)\n
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred\n
• Ability to float as needed within the organization (helping hands only)\n
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle (public transportation not accessible; snow tires recommended November–April)\n

\n\nL&D RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver comprehensive care for laboring mothers, newborns, and postpartum patients in an LDRP setting\n
• Independently manage all aspects of LDRP patient care: labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum\n
• Assist with newborn care, including neonatal resuscitation, APGAR scoring, and medication administration\n
• Perform IV starts, lab draws, PACU care post C-section, and epidural catheter removal\n
• Utilize electronic fetal monitors, smart pumps, and Mindray cardiac monitors\n
• Document patient care using Epic and Philips Intellispace EMR systems\n
• Float as needed to support other units (no patient assignments when floating)\n
• Participate in call, weekend, and holiday rotations as scheduled\n
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, including N-95 fit testing and math competency testing\n
