Lasting Support Radicalisation & Neurodiversity Workshop
Back due to popular demand, the Radicalisation & Neurodiversity workshop hosted by Lasting Support in collaboration with Westminister Council has returned for an additional session in July.
Join us for interactive online sessions on understanding and combating online radicalisation that targets neurodiverse children and young people. Our workshop will cover identifying extremist content, what makes neurodivergent individuals susceptible to risk and how best to support neurodiverse individuals.
Overview:
Neurodivergent individuals — including those with autism, ADHD, and other cognitive differences — are increasingly being targeted by extremist groups through tailored online content and manipulation. Join us for a timely and practical workshop that explores the intersection between neurodiversity and radicalisation, with a focus on safeguarding, awareness, and effective professional response.
