Lasting Support is a frontline specialist safeguarding organisation rooted in community and care. We limit the impact of trauma on children and young people, and by extension their families. We work with those who often fall between the cracks, families who fear or avoid statutory services, or who have been failed by systems meant to protect them.
Our work combines therapy, community support, consultancy, and professional training. We connect lived experience with professional expertise to create models of care that are culturally appropriate, practical, and deeply human. At our heart is the belief that change happens when people feel safe, seen, and understood.
Too many families live in fear of the very systems meant to protect them. They worry that seeking help will lead to blame or punishment. Therapy, when available, is expensive, clinical, or culturally inaccessible. Children are labelled. Parents are judged. Professionals are stretched thin and risk missing what matters most.
Lasting Support changes this by offering specialist therapeutic help in welcoming community settings. Families meet the same therapists every week. Trust builds, progress sticks, and stigma fades. We bring together expertise, compassion, and cultural understanding to create a space where help feels safe—and lasting change can begin.

At Lasting Support, our mission is to provide enduring assistance to disadvantaged youths and their families affected by trauma.
