GASTROENTEROLOGY

Essentia Health Brainerd is part of an integrated health system that includes a 165 Bed hospital - St. Joseph’s Medical Center and a 100 + Physician Multi Specialty group, representing 25 medical specialties and providing care at 7 locations.

Brainerd is situated an easy drive 125 miles north of Minneapolis. We have over 465 lakes in the area, ideal for boating, swimming, and fishing! Bike, hike, rollerblade, snowmobile, or ATV on the miles and miles of trails winding through lakes, rivers and forests. Attend one of the numerous community or art festivals. PRACTICE SPECIFICS

· Current team of 1 MD and 2 APPs

· 70% endoscopy, 20% clinic and 10% inpatient

· All admissions managed by IM hospitalist service

· Call is 1 weekend a month, 1 night a week

· Ability to practice “bread and butter” GI!

· No buy-in, no malpractice, no overhead and no seniority issues

REQUIREMENTS

· BC/BE Gastroenterology

LOCATION

· Brainerd, MN – located at the center of Minnesota

· Home to top bike trails, lakes, hunting, fishing, schools, and restaurants in rural MN

· Brainerd has a Delta Airport hub with twice-daily flights to MSP

· Brainerd Lakes Area population: 65,000; Regional service area: 115,000

· 125 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul

COMPENSATION

· $715,000 Greater of Salary or Floor. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
